We’re Hole Control. Old-school gamers, a few beers, and a wormhole chain to hunt. Small gang, cloaky engagements, black ops drops—if there’s a fight to be found, we want in.
We’re a bunch of old-school gamers who’ve built a close community through flying together. We enjoy the people on comms as much as the hunt. A typical evening means catching up, having a few beers, and seeing what the chain has for us.
Someone’s scanning, someone’s mapping, and we’re looking for something to get into. The conversation carries on while we hunt, right up until someone finds a target and the evening takes a turn.
PvP is what brings us together. The community we’ve built is why we keep coming back. We take a fight seriously, but we’re here to enjoy the game and the people we play it with.
LIFE IN J-SPACE
Nothing is off the table.
We’re always scanning and mapping the chain, looking for a way into someone else’s evening.
Go where the targets are.
Small gang is where we shine, but we’ll go wherever the targets take us. We like cloaky engagements, hunting from the shadows, and finding a chance to catch someone who didn’t see us coming.
A wormhole into nullsec gives us somewhere else to hunt. We slip through, look for targets, and see what we can catch. Sometimes that means a cloaky hunt, sometimes a black ops drop. We’re happy to bring a bigger fleet when the opportunity calls for it.
We don’t know exactly what the evening will look like when we log in. That’s part of why we like it.
Work the chain.
Scanning and mapping are part of the hunt. Every connection gives us another place to look, whether we stay in wormhole space or find a route into nullsec.
Come out of nowhere.
We enjoy getting into position quietly and choosing our moment. A hole into someone’s space is an invitation to have a look around—and, with a bit of luck, find something to kill.
Quiet chain? Roll again.
If there’s nothing happening, we rage roll and see what’s on the other side. The next connection might give us a very different night.
THE PEOPLE WE FLY WITH
Keep your head. Learn from the fight.
01
Leave the drama behind.
We get along with level-headed people. A loss is frustrating, but taking it out on the people you fly with doesn’t help. Take a breath, talk it through, and get ready for the next one.
02
Nobody knows everything.
You’ll make a bad call, lose a ship, or get caught out. We all do. Be willing to listen, work out what happened, and bring what you learned to the next fight. There’s always something to get better at.
03
Enjoy the hunt.
If you love flying cloaky, working an angle, and waiting for the moment to strike, you’ll probably feel at home here. Bring that enthusiasm, a cool head, and a sense of humour.
OUR CHARTER
How we run things.
That’s a taste of life in HC. Our charter sets out the alliance’s principles and responsibilities, including our commitment to our members and the wider wormhole community. Have a read if you want the full picture.
